2008 Oxbow World Longboard Tour

The first leg of the 2008 Oxbow World Longboard Tour was run last May in Anglet - France .
Competitors were greeted by some nice swells in " Les Cavaliers.
The only 18 years old Harley Ingleby won the final against local frenchman Antoine Delpero . Last year World champion Phil Razman from Brazil  got 3rd tied with Bonga Perkins from Hawaii . For 5th place were two more brazilian surfers Carlos Bahia and Amaro Matos , as well as south african Matthew Moir and the allready 3 time World champion Colin Mc Phillips from California .

The second and last leg of the Tour is going to happen from November 4th till Nov 9th in San Onofre in Southern California . Most of the competitors have allready been training there for a few days . A north swell is expected , so , be ready to know who will be crowned on sunday the 9th for 2008.
